How OpenDuet Compares Personal Agents

Our source standards, pricing assumptions and simulation labels make the guide’s evidence and limits easy to inspect.

Facts, Interpretation and Examples

Official product facts Editorial inference Illustrative scenario

A source-linked statement describes what a vendor currently documents. A recommendation explains our inference about the person or workflow it may suit. A simulated scenario supplies fictional inputs and expected evaluation criteria. We keep those evidence types distinct.

We have not obtained an independent multi-product benchmark for Duet, Muse, Dot, OpenClaw or Grok Bot. We do not publish invented success rates, quality scores, completion times or customer testimonials.

How the Research Was Done

  1. Start with the product’s own announcement, help center, official documentation or repository.
  2. Confirm the intended product identity. Muse means Meta Muse; OpenAI Dot means the documented dots product; Grok Bot is distinct from earlier scheduled Grok responses.
  3. Check current pages when old launch material and current entitlements differ. The directly retrieved current X Subscription page takes precedence over older pricing snippets.
  4. Capture access, plan, platform, execution, usage and action controls. Keep roadmap items out of the available-feature column.
  5. Mark unverified fields explicitly. For example, Muse has a verified free entry tier, but its current exact paid prices are unverified here.

This edition was checked on October 22, 2026. A dated snapshot is not a promise that a preview or plan will remain the same. No automatic refresh or monitoring service is claimed.

How to Read the Pricing Chart

The chart shows the lowest documented monthly personal-plan entry point that includes the product or qualifies for its rollout. It uses USD, before applicable taxes and fees. Eligibility, invitations and plan allowances still apply.

  • Duet: $20 Pro with monthly billing; US research-preview invitation required.
  • Grok Bot: $30 current X Premium; shared weekly usage.
  • Dot: $100 eligible Pro tier; age, region and gradual rollout requirements.
  • Muse: $0 limited free entry tier; paid prices not verified.
  • OpenClaw: no software fee; variable external costs. It is excluded from dollar bars because a $0 software license is not an operating-cost total.

We do not mix annual-equivalent monthly prices with cancel-any-month subscriptions, and we do not treat the bar length as a performance score.

How to Read Simulated Cases

The scenario lab contains fictional inputs, arithmetic and expected findings. “Expected” means an evaluation criterion written by our editors, not a result observed from a product.

The time calculator uses (manual minutes − assisted and review minutes) × tasks per week. Its defaults are editable assumptions. Negative results show extra time; they are not hidden. Neither the calculator nor a fictional invoice total proves a financial benefit.

Limits and Corrections

Vendor documentation describes intended behavior; it does not establish real-world reliability. Account-specific rollouts, apps, regional policies and permissions can change what you see. Absence of a verified feature in this guide is not proof that a product will never support it.

When a source changes, a correction should preserve the product, source URL, date checked and reason for the change. Real test claims should additionally include the account conditions and redacted evidence described in the scenario lab.
